¿Qué me queda entonces?
y me dedico a perfeccionar mi muerte.
I scrap bad poetry,
tastelessness,
the sublime,
voracious intelligent sex
that transcends what is not.
I refuse to hustle the sea
unseen to the moon in my sky,
the starfish I have,
to the voices that are in my ears,
Baudelaire's Flowers of Evil,
the vanguard of Neruda weeping.
I prefer the bullet to Roque Dalton,
or even a song sung by Silvio Café Tacuba.
The traditional is bored.
If possible it all disappears.
What remains?
I assume that visiting Eliot's wasteland
will improve my death.
I refuse to throw stones into the sea with two hands,
to be the crazy spring.
I refuse to all
that is all.
And myself, of course.
